I don't have a ton to say about this week. It was más o menos. (Nancy's translation:more or less) Our baptism told us she still has a ton of doubts (really we think she is just nervous), so we will now have a transfer without a baptism...and I am really bummed about that because we worked SO hard to try and improve this already dead area.
One day we were walking in this villa with these two little 11 year old girls who were showing us around. In the villa there are all kinds of tunnels and hidden houses and its really poor but kinda adventurous and cool at the same time. It sits right at the edge of this river. This day was beautiful and we went to one house with an absolutely gorgeous view of the sun set on the river. It was incredible. The girls asked us if we wanted to get a better view, so we said yes. We started walking on this really skinny dirt path that took us there, and it was right on the edge of this cliff with the river 4 feet below. Next thing I knew, hermana reyes slipped! Luckily she was able to grab some bushes and didn't make it into the river, PHEW! but she got so so so muddy. My eyes got so big and I got so scared, but she began to laugh and laugh and laugh. It was really, really funny. We joked about it all day and she was COVERED in mud. She is a good sport.
This week we had beautiful weather, some days were cold but others were perfect. Next week is transfers. This by far has been my hardest transfer yet, but that's the mission! I love my Savior and I know that He lives and loves us so very much, even when we are going through hard times. He suffered alone, so we never have to do the same.
